Hello everyone, I’m Sadhana originally from the cultural heart of India, Kolkata, and now based in Thane, Maharashtra. I wear many hats and each one reflects a deep passion and purpose.
I work as a freelance consultant merchandiser in the field of sustainable textiles and crafts, a spiritual life coach and healer, and a politician in the making.
My love for handloom and traditional crafts was shaped by my upbringing surrounded by the beauty of Indian artistry from a young age. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the finest names in the craft sector. Today, I act as a bridge between artisans and buyers including startups, corporates, private labels, and individual patrons ensuring our artisan communities across the country find visibility and support.
Why politics? Our textile heritage is facing a crisis. Artisans are struggling with issues like product development, quality control, yarn access, and market linkages. As a State Member of the Weavers Cell, BJP Maharashtra, my role is to connect the artisan and the government. I help drive policy awareness within the government and ensure artisans are informed about the various welfare schemes available to them.
The current BJP government in Maharashtra is actively working to preserve and promote our diverse textile and craft legacy, and I’m proud to contribute to that mission.
Another transformative chapter of my life began in May 2022, when I discovered the Akashic Records. That journey of self-awareness and healing guided me from a “Victim” to a “Victor” mindset, inspiring me to become a spiritual life coach and healer a path I now walk with deep gratitude.
