Hi there everyone , Sadhana here .I hail from the cultural capital of India,i.e.Kolkata, currently residing in Thane, Maharashtra.I wear quite a few hats !! I am a freelance consultant merchandiser in the field of sustainable textiles and crafts , spiritual life coach and healer and a politician in the making !!My passion for textiles ( handloom)and crafts springs from my upbringing.I was exposed to the arts and crafts from an early age and have worked with best in the field .As an artisan sector connect i bridge the gap between the buyer ,( startups , corporates , individuals,private labels ) and artisans across the country . Our textiles and crafts are perishing and our artisans are facing issues with marketing,product development, quality control,access to yarn etc .My role ,as a State member of the Weavers cell,BJP MH , is to bridge the gap between the artisan and the government by driving awareness within the govt about the artisans needs ,as well as making the artisan aware of several govt schemes ,how to avail of them and so on and so forth .The BJP govt is keen to ,and takes an active interest in preserving the rich and diverse textile and craft traditions of India.My journey of self discovery started in May 2022, through the Akashic records.
